Just as a sneak peak from the organizers, I would like to say that we are working to get some additional pre-GGJ events. The dates are not yet decided, but hopefully they will be revealed soon!
One of the upcoming events is screening of short movies Super Game Jam at HUMlab. The movies present the stories about creating games in 48 hours during game jams. Hopefully, they will help clearing some confusion you might have in understanding what a game jam is and how it works.
Beside that, we are also hoping to provide a short course in Unity, hosted by HUMlab, if the time allows, to get more hands-on knowledge of a video game engine.
